I had actually expected a book this week, and it did not come! (sad face) But since I have three books in my possession that come out in the next 7 days PLUS being behind on my Stephanie Barron books...it's really okay. I did however manage to grab one book out of my office'sgive-away lending library.

A Tree Grows in Brooklyn, by Betty Smith
I grew up watching the movie, but never read the book. I've heard the musical based on the book...but that doesn't count. Anyway, I'm hoping to read this sometime next year.
